After your first visit, you will be booked for a second follow up visit and continuation of your treatment. This appointment will be booked for you by one of our chiropractic office assistants at the reception desk.

Report of Findings:

Your second visit is called your “Report of Findings”. During this time, the doctor will go over the findings from your examination and testing. If x-rays were taken, he will also thoroughly explain and review the results with you.

At this time, your doctor will also determine what the nature of your complaint is and offer you a proper diagnosis. He will go over his best recommendations and let you know if your case can be accepted for care.

If your case is a chiropractic case, the doctor will inform you of the risks and benefits of it. You will also be provided with an explanation of the different types of care available.

Your doctor will also tell you the expected length of time it will take to help you feel better. The road to optimum health varies from one person to the next. It also depends on your individual health and wellness goals. If your chief complaint was induced by trauma, there is an initial time frame wherein, injured tissue needs to start healing. The reduction of inflammation and pain is dependent on when treatment was started and also to patient compliance to home care. He will give you an approximate time frame of care that is unique to your own situation.

Treatment plans are based on findings from the initial visit and are tailored to your specific needs. It is crucial to follow our recommendations for care as closely as possible, to truly experience the health rewards chiropractic can offer.
