Massage doesn't just feel good. Therapeutic massage shows
it reduces the heart rate, lowers blood pressure, increases blood
circulation and lymph flow, relaxes muscles, improves range of motion,
and increases endorphins, the body's natural painkillers. It also
enhances your chiropractic treatments.
B.C.'s RMTs are among the most educated and highly trained professionals
in the world. And unlike bodyworkers and masseurs, only RMTs can
accept physician referrals and bill to the Medical Services Plan.
RMTs must complete three years/3000 hours of training and must
pass provincial board exams provided by the College of Massage
Therapists of British Columbia before they can practice. Our RMT
has been in practice for over 9 years and has added experience
in postural, sports and arthritic conditions.
